Position: Hospital-Based Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)
Location: Worcestershire
Role Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £30 - £37 per hour

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated  Pharmacist to join out hospital based client in Worcestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a ward-based role where you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical services across a variety of clinical areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide ward-based clinical pharmacy services to patients across a range of specialties.
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient medication regimens.
Conduct medication reviews, including the screening of prescriptions and the management of patient drug histories.
Offer expert advice on pharmaceutical care, ensuring safe and effective medication use.
Support the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies.
Contribute to the delivery of education and training to hospital staff on medication-related matters.
Participate in audits, quality assurance, and service improvement activities.

Requirements:

Registered Pharmacist with the GPhC
Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in ward-based pharmacy roles.
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to apply it in patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Proactive, organised, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
