Description: Year 4 Teacher Maternity Cover in Boreham

Start Date: April 2025
Duration: Fixed Term for three terms.
Daily Pay: £171 - £223

Overview:

4myschools are looking for an experienced class teacher to cover maternity leave at a primary school in Boreham. This is for a Year 4 class and will initially be until the end of the academic year. For the right candidate, this could be extended for another two terms from September 2025. This is a job share for four days per week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. You will be expected to join staff meetings for the first term only, with the job share teacher attended the staff meetings from the second term. Full classroom responsibilities included. Not suitable for ECT's.

Key Responsibilities:

👩‍🏫 Lead engaging and inspiring lessons for KS2 students

🤝 Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to different teaching environments, school cultures, and curriculum requirements.

📝 Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behaviour, adhering to school policies and procedures.

🔍 Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported in their learning journey.

Requirements:

🎓 Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.

👩‍🎓 Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or 2, with a strong understanding of the curriculum

🗣️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
