We have an interesting opportunity for Software and Control Engineers to join a specialist engineering company that provides highly accurate and cost-effective systems for a variety of aerospace, automotive, defence and motorsport applications.

You will be focussing on aerodynamic test equipment for wind tunnel testing as well as supplying state of the art test and robotic equipment for a myriad of other complex engineering applications. Due to new projects opportunities exists for:

£55-70k + 20% Annual Bonus.

The roles will involve working within the engineering team to support existing projects and to drive through the development of new, cutting edge solutions.

You will utilise your software and electronic skills to build systems for leading corporations in the UK and USA.

Software & Controls Engineer - Requirements
· Bachelor degree
· Knowledge of modern high-level programming languages ie; Delphi
· Knowledge of modern PLC hardware/software packages (e.g. Beckhoff, Rockwell, Siemens etc)
· Experience of servo motor / motion control advantageous
· Ability to interpret various electrical drawings/documents e.g. I/O schedules
· Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
· Confident communicator, both written and verbal - ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
· Demonstrate potential to grow into a management position
· Knowledge of engineering lifecycle and business process

If you have experience in the development of either Robotics, Motion Control Projects, Data Acquisition, Safety Systems or Networking protocols, this position could be ideal for you.

Minimum office hours are 10:00 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday inclusive, and 10:00 - 13:00 on Fridays. The company provides a profit share scheme which for fiscal year 2024 is 20% on target performance.
