4Sire are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Estimator to join our client, a leading main contractor specialising in the super-prime residential property market in Central London.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate project costings, managing a team effectively, and delivering competitive bids while maintaining profitability. A strong understanding of high-end residential construction, attention to detail, and leadership skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Mentor and manage the estimating team, ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity.
Provide detailed and accurate costings for labour, materials, and equipment.
Coordinate with stakeholders and supply chains to ensure smooth bid preparation.
Resolve design or specification discrepancies with internal and external teams.
Keep company rates updated in partnership with the commercial team.
Present cost analysis and variance reports to senior management.
Drive cost control measures and provide assurance on budgets for tenders.
Skills & Requirements

Strong expertise in high-end residential construction methodologies.
Experience pricing in-house trades is advantageous.
Advanced proficiency in Bluebeam and Excel.
Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and maintain strategic focus.
Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, designers, and stakeholders.
Background in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management is beneficial.
