The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, tracking performance, and preparing financial statements.

As a Management Accountant, your role will be integral to the success of our client's finance operations. You will be directly reporting to the Finance Director, playing a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, tracking performance, and preparing insightful financial statements. Your expertise will help drive business decisions, support growth, and ensure profitability by delivering timely, accurate financial reports. You will also have the opportunity to lead, mentor, and guide other members of the accounting team while overseeing risk management and compliance responsibilities.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
  • Develop and oversee financial systems and procedures.
  • Maintain a management account reporting model with relevant updates.
  • Produce monthly accounts providing clear analysis and narrative.
  • Support in preparing the annual budget and recurring re-forecasting processes.
  • Manage the income reconciliation process.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide accounting team members.
  • Oversee Risk Management and Compliance responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.
  • Oversee the annual audit process.

What you bring:

  • Qualified accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW.
  • Experience in maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Ability to develop and oversee financial systems and procedures.
  • Experience in producing monthly accounts providing clear analysis.
  • Experience in managing income reconciliation process.
  • Leadership skills to mentor and guide accounting team members.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management and Compliance responsibilities.
  • Understanding of legal requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.
