We are currently seeking a dedicated Transport Coordinator to join a reputable client based in Barnsley, offering a competitive salary ranging from £28,132.52 to £32,363.86 per annum (depending on experience).
***This role will become permanent after successfully completing 12 weeks probation period***
About the Role:
As a Transport Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating the logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing routing plans for drivers and vehicles.
Ensuring efficient deployment of resources while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Collaborating closely with internal teams to optimise transport operations.
About the Client:
Our client is a prominent player in the import and export sector, specialising in timely delivery across the UK and Ireland. They maintain a fleet of vehicles dedicated to transporting chilled and frozen goods, operating from multiple depots nationwide.
Shift:
Monday to Friday
08:00 to 17:30 day (45 hrs excl. break) with a bit of flexibility on the start time
