Financial Planning Administrator/ Trainee Paraplanner

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planning Administrator/ Trainee Paraplanner to join a reputable practice of financial planners who specialise in giving advice to high-net-worth clients and business owners.

You will join a dynamic team of support staff who work together to support a small team of busy holistic financial planners.

The role

The successful candidate will provide 360’ support to financial planners which operate a truly holistic approach. You will assist the advisers in assessing clients’ needs in the short and long term, assess their attitude to risk and help them to create a suitable financial plan for the future.

Core tasks will involve:

• Assessing fact find documentation, assimilating information to allow a plan to be put together in line with key facts and attitude to risk
• Conducting fund and product provider research
• Creating suitability reports using Intelligent Office
• Obtaining illustrations, valuations and creating comparison reports
• Processing business keeping advisers and clients up to date along the way
• Acting as a technical referral point and mentor for less experienced team members and administrators when needed.

This is an office-based role.

Requirements

Individuals with knowledge of Intelligent Office (IO) back-office system will be at a distinct advantage.

Ideally candidates will be working towards level 4 Diploma with exceptional work ethic and enthusiasm. Good organisational skills and diligence are also required for this role.
