Job Purpose - Line manage and develop staff in the accounts team, ensuring high standards are maintained
- Oversee and review the preparation of statutory accounts (FRS102, FRS102 1A, FRS105) from both computer and manual records
- Manage and implement accounts workflow procedures, ensuring efficient resource allocation and meeting client deadlines
- Liaise with clients and ensure all necessary documentation is obtained, supporting the senior team in planning work effectively
- Report directly to Partners, clearing queries and ensuring client communications are smooth and efficient
- Handle allocated accounts assignments, including the preparation of corporation tax computations and returns

Candidate Requirements - ACCA / ACA qualified with 4-5 years of post-qualification UK practice experience
- Proven experience in line management and developing teams
- Strong understanding of financial reporting (UK GAAP)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient IT skills, particularly in Excel, and ability to quickly learn new software packages
- Positive, professional, and a can-do attitude, with a strong sense of teamwork
