Position: Part-Time Year 1 Teacher

Contract: Starting September 2024 Days: Monday and Tuesday, 8.30am - 3.30pm

Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work on Mondays and Tuesdays, collaborating closely with the other part-time classroom teacher to ensure a seamless learning experience for our Year 1 pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with the other part-time Year 1 teacher to maintain consistency and continuity in the classroom.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the social and emotional development of all students.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school activities as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching Key Stage 1 (KS1).
Strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
