Job Title: LEV Engineer
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits £26K - £48K + Training + Benefits

Our client is a nationally recognised provider of LEV services, and they are now looking to take on a BOHS P601 qualified LEV Engineer to join their team in the North West region. You will be working on Manufacturing, MOD, Construction, and Industrial sites. You will be responsible for conducting LEV testing alongside installing dust, fume, and oil mist extraction systems, ensuring work is completed in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines, and timelines agreed with clients.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Blackpool, Southport, St Helens, Liverpool, Wallasey, Birkenhead, Warrington, Chester, Crewe, Macclesfield, Stockport.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Experience working for an established LEV company, working hands on as an LEV engineer.
" Must hold the BOHS P601 qualification.
" Holding the NVQ in electrical / mechanical engineering would be beneficial to the role.
" Good IT skills, able to produce detailed reports.
" Able to work as a team and independently.
" Excellent organisational skills.

The Role:
" Carrying out the installation, commissioning, servicing and repairs of fume cupboards.
" Installing dust, fume, and oil mist extraction systems.
" Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) testing.
" Carrying out onsite risk assessments.
" Installing new equipment, including PVC and polypropylene ducting and welding.
" Correctly calibrating, validating, modifying, and commissioning systems.
" Demonstrating use of systems to clients upon completion of installation.
" Producing detailed reports based on site findings.
" Working in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines and manufacturing / company standards.
