JOB TITLE: Internal Sales Executive

(You will have worked in an internal sales role, or any sales related position where you have been responsible for negotiating on pricing and confirming quotes within a technical or construction environment)

LOCATION: Axbridge, Somerset

SALARY & BENEFITS: £25,000 - £28,000 PA & Bonus - up to 50% of your basic salary

HOURS: 8am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday

THE COMPANY: An established and innovative sustainable engineering company with a long standing and friendly team. They don't need to recruit often due to the longevity of their employees which is testament to them as an employer.

THE ROLE: You will be based in the internal sales team where you will assist with maximising each opportunity for sales through price negotiation and proactively managing projects and customer enquiries. You will maximise profitability in line with business strategy and approved pricing levels.

DUTIES:

Monitoring volume, price and profit in line with business strategy
Negotiating business and confirming quotations using agreed discretion levels
Ensuring the CRM system is kept up to date with all customer enquiries and price details
Proactively follow up and secure business
Validating all leads and ensure budgeted volume, margin and sales profit targets are met
Proactively source and manage sales leads
Maintaining personal contact with major customers and prospects in order to generate enquiries
Ensuring maximum number of quotations are converted to order and back sell secured orders
Providing technical advice with regard to product specification, features, benefits and installation in support of Technical services
Recording and communicating all market and competitor information received in order to increase sales opportunities
Ensuring customer relationships are maintained and additional product opportunities are identified and maximised
Mitigating any customer dissatisfaction
Recommending improvements in procedures and working practices to develop a culture of continuous improvementTHE CANDIDATE:

You will be an excellent communicator, confident in conversing over the telephone, as well as by email and face to face.
You will have strong influencing skills with the ability to negotiate.
You will have the ability to build effective and long lasting business relationships with customers and clients.
