Reed.co.uk is looking for a SEO Executive to join their Marketing Team in Holborn, London.
You will play a crucial role in optimising our Jobseeker, Courses, and Career Advice sites. You will work closely with our SEO agency and cross-functional teams to develop and implement SEO strategies that increase organic traffic, improve rankings, and elevate our online visibility. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with our agency to develop and execute SEO strategies tailored to our Jobs and Courses businesses
- Work with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to integrate SEO recommendations and align them with wider marketing initiatives
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market research to identify growth opportunities
- Ensure that all website content adheres to SEO best practices, and identify areas for improvement based on keyword trends
- Perform regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues
- Optimise on-page elements like meta tags, headings, and URLs, and ensure website structure is SEO-friendly
- Stay current with SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices
- Generate detailed reports on organic performance, tracking key metrics and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders across teams
- Provide data-driven recommendations to continuously improve SEO performance
Skills and Experience: - Proven experience as an SEO Executive or similar role
- Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices
- Hands-on experience with on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies
- Proficiency in developing and implementing linking strategies (e.g., digital PR, social media link-building)
- Experience collaborating with content teams to ensure SEO is fully integrated into web content
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Keyword Planner
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Slides
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Analytical and growth-oriented approach, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and workflows efficiently
Additional Requirements: - In-house SEO experience working with an agency is preferred but not required
- Exposure to other digital marketing channels is a plus
