Hours: Full-time, Standard Teaching Hours with Full Teaching Responsibilities

Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Subject Leader - Chemistry to join our vibrant school community in Milton Keynes, starting in January. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and innovative Chemistry teacher who is ready to lead a successful department, or for an experienced subject leader looking for a new challenge. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the Chemistry curriculum and inspiring both students and staff to achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Chemistry department, driving high standards in teaching, learning, and student achievement.
Plan and deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons to students across a range of abilities.
Develop and implement an innovative Chemistry curriculum, ensuring alignment with school goals and national requirements.
Track and assess student progress, using data to inform teaching strategies and improve outcomes.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the Chemistry teaching team, supporting their professional development.
Promote a positive learning environment that fosters curiosity and a love for science.
Collaborate with senior leadership and other department heads to contribute to the wider school community.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching Chemistry at the secondary level.
Proven leadership experience or a strong desire to take on a leadership role within the department.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Chemistry education.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Commitment to maintaining high academic standards and supporting student success.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.What We Offer:
