A warm, welcoming school in Bacup is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The role will start on a full-time basis from April 2025 and is needed until the end of the academic year with the possibility of going permanent.

As an Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support the class teacher in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
Assist with the development of a stimulating and safe learning environment
Lead reading intervention groups where appropriate
Provide one-on-one support to students as needed
Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians
Role Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEN needs would be beneficial
Enthusiasm for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for young children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and, most importantly, little learners
