Job description: An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within an established North West Local Authority as a Locum Childcare Solicitor to cover a maternity leave. The client is looking for someone to start immediately on 4 day per week basis (29.6 hours per week), for an initial period of 3 months, however, funding is in place until March 2025.

The role can be performed on a remote basis until the new year, with travel required for advocacy a couple of times per month. Attendance is required every 6 weeks for Legal Gateway meetings. Following the new year, office attendance will be required weekly.

This role is suitable for a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister/CILEx 

Hourly rate: £55 per hour, via Umbrella
