Our client, a prestigious London charity, is currently seeking a temporary, part-time (10 hours per week) Finance Officer, running for 3-months in the first instance, working remotely.Key Responsibilities for this role include:
- Completing financial administration tasks to ensure that financial data is accurate.
- Acting as a liaison between budget holders and the financial team.
- Ensuring effective running of invoicing and credit control procedures, including liaising with the financial team to ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with the wider organisation, supporting the smooth running of the financial management infrastructure.
- Completing monthly reconciliation reports of the income and expenditure for the subcontractors.
- Attending and minuting the Finance Committee meetings.
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- Previous experience in a similar role working within the not-for-profit sector.
- A proactive and flexible working approach.
- Strong experience working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent IT skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong practical understanding of information governance, data protection and risk management.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
