Position: Experienced Teaching Assistant
Location: Islington, North London
Salary: £95 - £105 per day
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Hours: 8:30am - 4pm
Start Date: Immediately
A 'Good' graded primary school in Islington, North London is seeking a dedicated and skilled Experienced Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for education and experience in supporting pupils to make a real difference to the learning and development of children at the school.

Key Responsibilities as an Experienced Teaching Assistant:
- Planning, delivering and leading interventions for students with SEN
- Providing individual and group support to help children achieve their learning goals.
- Managing behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Supporting the school's ethos, ensuring that all pupils receive a high-quality learning experience.
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff to ensure consistent support for pupils.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a teaching assistant or classroom support role and ideally SEN.
- A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a calm and focused environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
