The Role

As a Teacher of English, you will play a key role in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum that fosters a love for literature and language. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.

Monitoring and supporting student progress to help them reach their full potential.

Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages academic excellence.

Contributing to curriculum development and departmental strategy.

Supporting the wider school community as a form tutor.

Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching standards.

Hold QTS / QTLS and a relevant undergraduate degree.
