Start Date: ASAP

Location: Outskirts of Newmarket, Suffolk

Hours: 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday

Hourly Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour dependent on experience

Duration: 6 weeks with possible extension

Duties:

* Manufacture products to documented build standard.

* Wiring small components

* Manage multiple batches of time-critical production processes.

* Creating multipart tests

* Trialling development processes

* Reviewing results and providing feedback

* Create and process works orders required by MRP

* Data coordination using complex spreadsheets, goods-in chemical checks for selected products.

* Fault-find, fix, recalibrate customer repairs.

* Provide maintenance for jigs, test equipment, assembly aids.

Skills and Experience Required:

* Previous experience of hand and tool assembly work

* Understanding of test and calibration procedures

* Able to fault-find to component level

* High level of precision and accuracy

* Electronics knowledge

* General manufacturing expertise and knowledge of best practice.

* Ability to use of optical equipment preferred
