Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) departmental support to provide support to the Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator where required. To actively promote a culture of Health & Safety and to control and eliminate loss in the areas of injury, illness, material damage PPE control and data collection/recording. Whist promoting core values of openness, integrity, adaptability, customer focus and team approach.

Job Duties:

* Provide support for the ongoing maintenance of the company's H&S management system and of the company's ISO certificate.

* Support the clerical aspect of the health and safety policies & procedures.

* Help maintain a comprehensive training record on each employee.

* Help ensure H&S legislative compliance via documentation control.

* In the event of any incident or accident help control all documentation resulting from an investigation.

* Support the control of waste management permits and national regulations.

* Liaise with the sites senior management team when required to ensure site compliance.

* Control documentation from completed site assessments, risk assessments, internal auditing keeping daily/weekly records.

* Support the organisation and control of the sites PPE stock.

* Work within the ethos and standards of the company.

* Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by the EHS Coordinator/Management.

Requirements:

* No previous EHS experience is required but would be useful.

* Have a working knowledge of Windows IT based applications.

* Have good organisational and administrative skills.

* Must have good communicational skills, be self motivated with an ability to multitask.

* Concern for clarity and quality of work.

Salary: £12.00 per hour.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm.
