Salary: up to £14.20 DOE

Are you a skilled Press Brake Operator? Quest Employment have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client based in Burton Latimer are looking for a Dynamic Press Brake Operator to join their fantastic team on a Temporary to Permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate press brake machinery to bend, shape, and form metal sheets according to specifications

* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications

* Set up and calibrate press brake machines, selecting the correct tools and dies

* Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments and notifying management when required.

* Perform routine maintenance on machinery and report any issues

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace

* Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role

* Strong understanding of press brake operations and metal fabrication processes

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

* Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

* Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

* Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if required

* Use correct PPE at all times.

* Follow the SSOW documentation.

* CNC Machine Programming experience would be preferred (training will be provided)
