Job Title: Business Change Project Manager (Fixed Term - 2 Years)
Location: Manchester, 2-3 days onsite required
Salary: Up to £83K - plus a car allowance and excellent benefits
We are currently recruiting for a Business Change Project Manager to join our client on a two-year fixed-term contract.
As the Business Change Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a portfolio of projects focused on driving operational and business change. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as HR/Finance/Customer Service to deliver improvements that enhance each area. This role will require excellent project management, change management, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage business change projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in alignment with business goals.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure successful project implementation and change adoption.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Oversee the communication and reporting of project progress to senior stakeholders and steering groups.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a business change environment, ideally within sectors such as Retail, FMCG, Manufacturing or Supply Chain.
- Experience in delivering process improvement and operational change projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget.
- Experience in change management, with the ability to drive cultural and process transformation.
