Mac Recruit Group is excited to partner with a well-established organisation based in Midlothian to find a dedicated Finance Assistant for an ongoing contract basis.

General Duties:

* Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers

* Process a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency

* Perform bank reconciliations and monthly financial reporting

* Assist with month-end closing activities

* Address and resolve invoice discrepancies

* Mailbox management

* Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payment processing

To be considered for the role you will ideally have:

* Previous experience in a similar role.

* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

* Excellent organisational and communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

On Offer: The organisation offers a competitive hourly rate between £16 - £17 per hour, based on experience, flexible working hours, hybrid working, onsite parking and the potential for the role to be extended
