Our Specialist Aerospace fabrication and welding client in Manchester is recruiting for a First Article Inspector to join their growing business on a permanent basis.

First Article Inspector

* Aerospace / other highly regulated industry experience in a FAIR collation / submission role

* A good understanding of manufacturing processes (preferably aerospace sheet metal or assembly)

* Proven ability to read and understand aerospace sheet metal / assembly drawings and the related tolerances.

* Experience of manual inspection and the measuring of parts

* Expertise in:

* FAIR collation (typically to AS9102)

* FAIR review / approval

* FAIR submission (via Net-inspect / other

* Demonstrated evidence of FAIR experience

* Excellent PC / MS products (word/excel/nuance etc) skills
