Job Duties:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons in Humanities subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies
Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and projects
Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
Collaborate with colleagues to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

A recognised teaching qualification

Education:

A degree in a relevant Humanities subject

Experience:

Prior experience teaching Humanities subjects at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

Deep understanding of the National Curriculum and examination requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to inspire and motivate students
Organisational skills to manage workload effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school environment, following the school calendar and timetable. May require occasional participation in extracurricular activities or parent meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
