With over 17,000 employees across 140 countries, this business is a major player in driving the world towards a sustainable future.Your new roleAs the Vendor Risk Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Vendor Risk & Assurance to deliver a broad range of projects to improve the business performance in relation to a range of long-term objectives. To begin, you will focus on a project relating to data privacy and protection within the supply chain, working to define, establish and implement a policy to ensure appropriate processing and storage of supplier data. This role will frequently engage with procurement teams across all 5 regions within which the business operates and work to deliver solutions to cover all or individual regions. What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of vendor/supplier risk principles. Previous experience working on projects relating to GDPR in the supply chain would be highly advantageous for this position. You should be a driven and self-motivated professional who is happy and able to work independently as well as part of larger project teams. This role will work closely with many stakeholders across a global business, so the ability to build rapport and effectively manage a range of stakeholders will be vital for this position.
