Trainee AutoCAD Technician - Commercial Electrical Sector

We’re working with a well-established, independent electrical contractor based in the heart of London Bridge, with a strong reputation and a growing list of repeat clients in the office fit-out sector. As the company continues to expand, they’re looking to add a Trainee AutoCAD Technician to their close-knit design team.

The role will involve:

• Producing 2D CAD drawings for commercial electrical installations

• Working closely with engineers and project managers to support design needs

• Gaining experience in building services design for high-end office spaces

• Assisting in preparing documentation and drawings for tender and construction

Ideal candidate:

• A recent college leaver with a relevant technical qualification (e.g., electrical, engineering, CAD design)

• OR someone with up to 1 year of industry experience

• Confident using AutoCAD (any exposure to electrical layouts a bonus)

• Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and keen to learn

• Looking to build a long-term career in the electrical design industry
