We are seeking an experienced and motivated Compliance Engineer to ensure the safety and regulatory compliance of our equipment and machinery. This role involves collaborating with engineering, production, and safety teams to uphold high standards in line with all relevant regulations, including CE/CA/PUWER, as well as internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure all machinery meets the necessary legislation, regulations, and company standards.

* Support engineering activities for new installations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

* Assess existing machinery to ensure compliance and propose necessary upgrades or changes.

* Conduct and support technical Risk and Conformity Assessments.

* Establish and implement regular technical safety checks on site equipment.

* Collaborate with the Project Team and Technical Purchasing Team to ensure compliance when purchasing equipment or parts.

* Maintain up-to-date documentation and records, ensuring they are correctly stored.

* Review, update, or create operating manuals and technical documentation.

* Ensure safety test schedules are in place and carried out for new or modified machinery.

* Provide out-of-hours support when necessary.

Special Requirements:

* Provide ongoing professional development and stay updated with relevant regulatory changes.

* Assist in reviewing and maintaining safety systems and records for plant machinery.

Qualifications and Skills:

* HND in an engineering discipline or significant experience in design, manufacturing, or maintenance.

* Completed training in Work Equipment and Machinery Safety, including PUWER and CE/CA marking.

* Experience in a manufacturing or similar engineering environment, with knowledge of machinery safety legislation.

* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with SharePoint and SAP is advantageous.

* Ability to work independently and within a team, with excellent organizational and communication skills.

* Self-driven, with a commitment to continuous learning and compliance with safety regulations.
