About the Role

As a KS5 Social Sciences Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across multiple subjects within the Social Sciences field, inspiring and supporting students in their academic and personal development. You will play a vital role in helping students succeed in their A-Level and BTEC qualifications, preparing them for further education or career paths in psychology, sociology, health and social care, and child development.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care, and Child Development.
Supporting and assessing students in their academic progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
Developing resources and schemes of work tailored to the curriculum.
Engaging with students, colleagues, and parents to create a positive and dynamic learning environment.
Preparing students for exams and assessments, ensuring they meet or exceed their target grades.

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with experience teaching at Key Stage 5.
Demonstrable experience delivering A-Level and BTEC courses in Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care, and Child Development.
Strong understanding of the Key Stage 5 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
A proactive and adaptable teaching style with the ability to inspire and engage students.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A genuine passion for Social Sciences and a commitment to supporting student success.
