Supply Chain Team Leader

Hirwaun, Aberdare

£40,000 + Day Shifts (Mon-Fri) + Holiday + Pension + Permanent Full Time Role + Training + Progression

Are you seeking an exciting role within a well-established and growing manufacturing company?

Do you have experience in supply chain management, procurement, materials planning, stock control, supply chain or similar within a manufacturing/warehouse environment?

LINKS Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to be part of the senior Management, where you'll lead and optimise the end-to-end supply chain.

Responsibilities:

* Order Management (from order entry to delivery to customer)

* Develop production plans according to order intake, sales forecast, components availability and manufacturing capacity;

* Manage company inventory: develop and implement inventory management strategies to reduce working capital and ensure high service to customers

* Work directly with suppliers

* Be responsible for communication with Sales Units in Europe about status of orders and timely delivery;

* Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction;

* Manage 1-2 direct reports;

* Drive optimization by maximum usage of SAP and other IT tools

* Ensure proper change management while upgrading and implementing new tools & processes;

* Take active role in monthly S&OP cycle

Desirable Skills:

* Extensive experience in end-to-end supply chain management, demand planning and inventory management

* Supply Chain Certification will be the advantage (ex. APICS)

* Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel.

* Strong leadership and communication skills.

* Proven leadership with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

* Strong negotiation skills and a collaborative approach.

* Ability to manage and develop people;

* Bachelor's degree in a business, engineering, or an equivalent discipline desirable.

Role: Permanent

Salary: £40,000

Hours of work: 8.00am-4.30pm
