We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nurse Manager (RGN/RMN) to join our client’s team in a luxury, modern nursing home overlooking a beautiful park. The home specialises in dementia, nursing, and residential care, providing a supportive and enriching environment for both residents and staff.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager, a strong commitment to providing exceptional care, and a deep understanding of the diverse needs of our residents. As a key leader within the team, you will ensure the delivery of the highest care standards while fostering positive relationships with external professionals, residents' families, visitors, and staff.
What we’re looking for
- Valid RGN or RMN qualification with current NMC registration.
- Proven experience in a Deputy Home Manager role within a similar care setting.
- In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Experience in dementia care and knowledge of person-centred care approaches.

Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Support and manage the nursing team, offering guidance and fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Resident Engagement: Actively engage with residents to understand their individual needs and ensure their involvement in personalized care plans.
- Safeguarding: Identify and address safeguarding concerns, following appropriate referral pathways to protect residents from abuse.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of CQC standards and support the home in achieving and exceeding compliance requirements.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staff to promote a positive and inclusive care environment.
