Handle are delighted to be working with a unique and forward thinking music management company in their search for an accounts assistant to join their buzzing London team. This role will be a dynamic position supporting the management accountant with the day to day finance operations of the business. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone to work in a fast paced music environment as well as a growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconciling multiple bank accounts on a regular basis
- Raising and posting sales invoices
- Preparing VAT returns
- Assisting the Management Accountant posting journal entries at month end
- Daily review of the bank and weekly update of cash flows
- Accounts payable: posting invoices onto Xero, reviewing supplier statements
- Team expense processing and coding review
- Monitoring Accounts inbox: responding to emails, escalating, as necessary
- Work with the Label teams on Artist budget trackers and updating budgets with actuals regularly
- Support Management Accountant on reports and analysis for Company Meetings and board packs.
- Reconciliation of intercompany transactions
- Prepare weekly pay runs
You will be:
- 1 year experience within a finance role
- ACCA part qualified desired but not essential
- Experience with Xero desired
- Experience with accounts payable
- Advanced excel knowledge including pivot tables and v-lookups.
- Great communicator and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
- A passion for all things music
- Great attention to detail and organisation skills
This role will be mostly office based and you must be willing to do four days a week from a central London office, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about their music and looking for a finance role in the sector.
