Our internationally renowned client has a fantastic opportunity for a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor to drive change in safety culture and help lead this business of it's continuous improvement journey?

As the Health, Safety and Environmental advisor you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by implementing and monitoring health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations. This role involves conducting risk assessments, providing safety training, and collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities;

* Conducting regular visits to our partner Company in Dudley, with a primary focus on supporting and integrating all Health, Safety & Environment systems so it aligns with the Group strategy

* Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential hazards and assess risks in the manufacturing environment

* Develop Safety Policies: Create and implement safety policies and procedures where required to mitigate identified risks

* Safety Training, provide training and education to employees on safety practices and procedures.

* Incident Investigation: Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine causes and implement corrective actions

* Compliance Monitoring: Ensuring we adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies

* Safety Audits: Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols

* Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures

* Reporting: Prepare and submit safety reports, incident reports, and compliance documentation to the Group Head of EHS Compliance.

Ideal candidates will possess the following;

* Proven experience in a similar Health & Safety role, ideally heavy manufacturing

* NEBOSH

* Member of relevant professional body, IOSH, IIRSM

* Experience of implementing management systems to ISO45001& 14001 standards

* Experience of implementing & carrying out H&S training

* Ability to carry out risk assessments

* Knowledge of Safety Regulations: Strong understanding of local, national, and industry specific safety regulations and standards.

As the Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor you will work standard days Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm and Friday finish at 2.30pm. You will expect a salary of up to £40k + benefits, including 33-34 days holiday!
