About the Role:

My Client is looking for an experienced 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to join a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Cheltenham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT professional with strong cloud and networking expertise to take on a senior role within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

You’ll be responsible for providing high-level technical support to clients, troubleshooting complex issues, and playing a key role in project work, including cloud migrations and network infrastructure upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 3rd Line technical support for a range of clients across different industries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues across Windows Server, networking, and cloud platforms.
• Work on Azure and other cloud technologies, assisting with migrations, configurations, and management.
• Configure and maintain network switches, VLANs, and related networking infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the 1st and 2nd Line teams to escalate and resolve issues efficiently.
• Assist in delivering IT projects, such as cloud migrations, network infrastructure upgrades, and security improvements.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and timely resolutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong experience in an MSP environment providing 3rd Line support.
• Proficiency in Azure or other cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Solid understanding of networking, including switch configuration, VLANs, firewalls, and routing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on technical challenges.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Relevant certifications (such as Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA Network+) would be beneficial.
