EYFS 1:1 SEN Support or Nursery Nurse required in Saxmundham Suffolk for long term assignment with the opportunity to become permanent

Strategy Education are looking for a EYFS Teaching Assistant, Nursery Nurse or Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a reception child who has a high level of special needs, non-verbal and is working at infant level this 1:1 support role is based in Saxmundham.

You will be based full time in a mainstream primary school and the role is term time only with school hours 8.30am -3.30pm

You will be providing stimulating lessons which are appropriate to the child's age and developmental stage and must be willing to undertake personal care.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, passionate and have empathy and be familiar with the needs of children in a nursery setting.

Experience of EYFS which could have been gained in a nursery or in a school setting.

Ability to use clear language to communicate.

Good understanding of children's development

Experienced in working with children in an early year setting and hold NVQ Level 2 or above, early years special needs qualification, NNEB or equivalent.

This role is for an immediate start and is an ongoing contract with a possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
