We are looking for a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record in high rise projects based in inner city locations. Experience of working with a Tier 1 contractor would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
* Oversee all cost management aspects of high-value inner city projects as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
* Lead and mentor an Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS) working alongside you.
* Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and cost plans.
* Conduct detailed cost analysis and financial reporting.
* Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and relevant legislation.
* Assess and manage project risks and opportunities.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Prepare and present detailed progress reports and financial statements.
* Support the project team in achieving project milestones and objectives.
What we're Looking For in a Senior Quantity Surveyor:
* Extensive experience with high rise projects is essential.
* Prior experience working with a Tier 1 contractor is highly advantageous.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in cost management software and tools.
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is preferred.
* Professional membership with RICS or similar is desirable.
