Our client are a leading asbestos removal and remediation contractor. They have the expertise and capabilities to undertake asbestos removal and remediation projects of any nature and scale.

Due to the ongoing success, they are now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic and experienced team. In this role, you will be responsible for estimating costs, quantities, project timelines and providing this information to clients. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure that projects remain on schedule.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for asbestos removal and remediation projects.
Develop project budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure projects stay within financial limits.
Assess project requirements and create comprehensive plans that outline timelines, resources, and milestones.
Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate scheduling and resource allocation.
Prepare tender documents and conduct thorough evaluations of bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure the best possible agreements.
Oversee contract administration, including compliance with contractual obligations and tracking deliverables.
Manage variations and change orders, ensuring all adjustments are properly documented and approved.
Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Ensure all asbestos removal activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
Act as a key point of contact between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Provide regular updates and reports to clients regarding project progress, costs, and any issues that arise.
Conduct site visits to measure and value work done, ensuring accurate billing and payment processes.
Prepare interim and final valuations, ensuring all work is documented and accounted for.
Ensure all work adheres to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Conduct audits and inspections to verify that project specifications and safety protocols are met.
Maintain comprehensive records of all project-related documents, including contracts, cost estimates, and progress reports.
Generate detailed financial and project reports for internal and client review.Quantity Surveyor - Position Requirements
