You'll install, maintain, and repair high-precision machinery, ensuring optimal performance for our customers across the UK and Ireland. This role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, performing upgrades, and delivering exceptional on-site service. About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our team, supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced bar feeding technology used in the turning industry. This is a key role that involves hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and customer interaction across various locations in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and configure bar feeders and associated machinery at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance from the start.

Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and maintain machinery efficiency.

Diagnose and repair machinery breakdowns, including replacing faulty components and adjusting systems to restore functionality.

Implement upgrades or retrofits to enhance existing equipment.

Perform regular inspections and use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.

Provide training to customers on operating and maintaining their equipment.

Maintain detailed records of service visits in the CRM system, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.

Communicate professionally with customers, keeping them informed about service progress and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a field service role, preferably in the manufacturing or machinery sector.

Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and a strong understanding of bar feeding technology and machinery.

Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in high-pressure environments.

Proficiency in English (C1/C2 level). Italian is a plus.

Must reside within 30 km of Birmingham, UK.
