Location: Yorkshire Office

Remuneration: £30,000 - £40,000Benefits: Full Comprehensive Benefits PackageThe role of the Designer / Draughtsperson - Bespoke Joinery & Furniture will involve:

• Designer position dealing with a high end bespoke range of bespoke furniture and joinery projects
• Responsibility for efficient and accurate delivery of design schemes in line with client requirements, project scope, costs, material lead times and deadlines
• Review and interpret client drawings to gain a full understanding of what the project entails
• Liaising with the client to obtain and further information that is required
• Producing clear 2D drawings using Solidworks & Rhino, elevations and layouts should be scaled accordingly to maximise clarity and understanding
• Working closely with the Design Manager on completed works and projected workload
• Liaise with procurement, project and workshop teams regarding any long lead time materials
• Discuss design decisions with Lead Joiners
• Working on projects ranging in value from £1k - £3.5m

The ideal applicant will be a Designer / Draughtsperson - Bespoke Joinery & Furniture with:

• Must have a design or draughtsperson experience utilising Solidworks or Rhino software
• Familiar with producing layout drawings
• Furniture, fit out, joinery or carpentry design experience would be highly advantageous
• Must have the ability to read technical drawings
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High levels of attention to detail
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Genuine 'get up and go’ work ethic
