Cyber Security Engineer - 75-80k - Central London (Hybrid)

Leading Global retail company are recruiting for an experienced cyber security focused Infrastructure engineer to join the global HQ based in central London. You will have experience implementing security best practices, working across globally distributed locations and have strong networking and windows server/Microsoft 365 enterprise experience. Additionally, the person will be comfortable covering other 3rd line Infrastructure duties and working closely alongside the Infrastructure Engineers as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the day-to-day cyber tools and security position across the business.
• Monitoring and keeping up to date with the industry, alerts and advisories.
• Implementing security controls alongside our Infrastructure and business systems team.
• Supporting PCI and GDPR compliance efforts
• Monitor and manage phishing and security awareness campaigns.
• Working alongside HR to keep security policy up to date.
• Work co-operatively with vendors, especially third party SIEM and Managed Services teams.
• Switch between security focussed tasks and assisting on other general infrastructure tasks.

Technical Skills

• Technical and comfortable In the Infrastructure space across Wintel, VMware, Cisco, and other Microsoft technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking models, firewall rulesets, application security, internal and external network security
