The Company:
We are the Christmas Tree Specialists. A British brand with Scottish heritage, Pines and Needles are premier, sustainable Christmas tree growers and retailers in London and the South of England. Our company has been trading for over 25 years and is known throughout the capital for the quality service we provide. Christmas is fast approaching and we are looking to hire Store Managers for our pop-up stores across London.
Role & Responsibilities
The Store Manager role is intensive, requires heavy lifting and strong management skills. It will involve a steep learning curve, a great team, and lots of fun! This is a short term, full-time contract, which will start on the 15th of November and end on the 24th of December.
Each store manager is responsible for a pop-up store in London, along with the responsibilities listed below.
- Leading a team of 2 - 12 sales assistants, depending on store size
- Working alongside 1-2 Assistant Store Managers
- Generating and facilitating product sales & revenue
- Training new staff
- Opening and closing their store
- Stock management
- Pruning and handling a large display of 3-12 foot trees
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Coordinating customer tree deliveries
- Ensuring their store operates according to Pines and Needles policy and procedural standards

- Management, hospitality and retail experience are a plus but not mandatory

Expected Availability:
You MUST be available to work a minimum of 2, out of 3 of the following weekends:
- November 30th, 1st
- December 7th, 8th
- December 14th, 15th
If you can’t work on 2 of the following weekends, please do not apply as there are no exceptions.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Sunday
- Weekend and Peak Hour work is expected

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Attire:
Please note that staff are expected to bring their own waterproof footwear, black/navy leggings, gloves and warm raincoat.
