Production Technician - Optical Sensors - Oxfordshire - IM3358

Salary: c£30-35k depend on experience, plus benefits

Job Term: Permanent, Full Time, Onsite

We are looking for a Production Technician to join an Oxfordshire based producer of optical sensors.

With strong manual dexterity skills and an aptitude for precision work, you will use inspection cameras, microscopes and metrology equipment to qualify product conformance to drawing specifications.

On a daily basis you will be lapping and polishing small pieces to fine tolerances and finishes and inspecting the finished work to qualify product conformance.

In addition, you will be running the bonding equipment and undertaking assembly tasks.

Working in a small company of c 30 employees, you will develop cutting edge optical sensing products for a broad range of customers.

Experience and Qualifications:

As the successful Production Technician, you will have previous experience in a precision engineering environment, working with microscopes.

You should have with good manual dexterity skills to work with the microscopes.

Experience within a cleanroom environment would also be advantageous.
