We are currently recruiting for a Technical Manager (Rail & Civils) on behalf of a leading engineering consultancy based in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chartered Civil Engineer to join a dynamic team and take the lead on a range of high-profile projects, including road and rail bridges, coastal defences, flood prevention schemes, marinas, and large-scale infrastructure projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage civil engineering projects from concept through to completion.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring high standards and compliance with design specifications.
Review designs, documents, and drawings, ensuring adherence to industry standards, best practices, and client requirements.
Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and third parties to maintain strong relationships and ensure project success.
Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to their professional development.
Contribute to fee proposals and bid submissions for new projects.Key Requirements:

Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with proven experience in civil engineering projects.
Strong background in the design, assessment, and investigation of civil engineering structures, particularly bridges.
Experience with Network Rail's design assurance process and holding CRE (Civils) endorsement for Network Rail projects.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to write detailed technical reports and liaise effectively with clients.
Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.What's on Offer:
