We are currently looking for 7 Enforcement Officer to work in the Central Bedfordshire area.

Contract: Full time or part time, fixed- permanent

Hours: Rota based / 37 hours per week, 4 on 4 off, mixture of early and late shifts between 7am and 9.30pm

Salary: £26.412- £28.770 per year (enhanced rate for weekend hours)

Successful candidates will be responsible for enforcing traffic and parking regulations, issuing PCN's and permits.

Main duties:

* Issuing Penalty Charge Notices

* Being the first point of contact for residents in the borough

* Writing reports

* Patrolling roads and parking spaces within a borough, on foot in all weather conditions

* Reporting any issues while patrolling, ie rough sleepers, anti-social behaviour, fly tipping etc

Ideal candidate must have:

* Full UK driving licence

* Knowledge of relevant legislations, policies, and procedures

* Ability to deal with abusive behaviour

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (fluent English)

* Ability to deal with issues in calm and professional manner

* Previous experience in similar role
