We are currently working with a specialist Cleaning and Waste Management service provider, to recruit a Head of Projects to cover sites across the UK
The role will be responsible for managing a team of Project Managers to deliver best in class service delivery, budgetary management and reporting, the role requires the ability to expertly manage client relationships and expectations, on site and remotely alongside strategic and operational ownership of Major Projects. Line management of Project manager and teams ensuring delivery of minor projects.
Main responsibilities:
* Reporting to the UK Operations Director
* National travel will be required
* Staying away from home will be required where Projects dictate
* Working as part of a National Team to deliver Major and Minor Projects
* Work with Sales & National Accounts to take ownership of new project wins
* Compile project plans to measure delivery, progress and success
* Execute governance & oversight of Projects
* Manage project budget and P&L
* Work with Operations team to schedule and resource projects effectively
* Ensure required equipment and materials are procured via approved supply chain
* Work with Supply Chain team to resource, trained and qualified temporary staff where required in good time
* Work and coordinate subcontractors where applicable to deliver a seamless integration with the project deliverables
Candidate requirements:
* 3-5 years' experience of working in Senior Project Management or Operational Role
* IOSH or NEBOSH Qualified
* IPAF & PASMA desirable (Training provided otherwise)
* Experience of delivering projects on site
* Competence in Microsoft Office products
* Prior experience with working at height
* Prior experience in Specialist Cleaning
