The Role - SEN Teaching assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work with our team of professionals in providing high-quality education and support for our students with special educational needs.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other teaching assistants to develop and maintain effective learning environments for students with a range of special educational needs. This may include students with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, or other special educational needs.

Responsibilities:

* Supporting students with special educational needs in their learning and development

* Assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons and activities

* Monitoring and recording student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents

* Providing one-to-one support for students with special educational needs

* Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Plans

* Creating and maintaining a safe and positive learning environment for all students

* Collaborating with teachers and other teaching assistants to ensure effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

* A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but not essential

* Experience working with students with special educational needs is essential.
