What you'll be doing:

* Mechanical, Electrical and Control Systems fault-finding on CHP sets to ensure the systems are running smoothly.

* Working on units from 30kW to 7MW, allowing you to develop a range of technical knowledge.

* Reporting directly to the Area Supervisor on status updates of the works, firming up communication with future projects.

* Engine strips and rebuilds on MAN, MWM and Jenbacher machines.

* Attend a call out rota to meet the needs of the business, allowing you work independently to diagnose and solve faults.

* Replace parts, diagnose failures and repairs independently once trained up to the standards of the company.

What you need:

* Gas and Biogas Engine Experience.

* Mechanical and Electrical knowledge in the industry.

* Transferrable skills with a great attitude to learn if you have not yet worked with CHP.

* Relevant qualifications in the field. (HNC/HND/Level3)

* Generator experience is advantageous.
