Reed are recruiting a Registered Manager to provide high-quality homecare services, ensuring customers enjoy the best quality of life for a Domiciliary Care provider in Peterborough.

Registered Manager

  • Location: Peterborough
  • Monday to Friday (plus on-call)
  • Salary: £42,000

Day to Day of the role:

  • Oversee the daily management of the business, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources to deliver high-quality homecare within budget.
  • Allocate resources and monitor performance to ensure the safety and quality of care services.
  • Lead the staff team, providing clear direction and support to fulfill their roles safely.
  • Conduct full assessments of customers’ needs and risks, creating tailored care and support plans.
  • Maintain secure and confidential records, adhering to legal requirements and company policies.
  • Implement and monitor quality management systems, manage complaints, and use feedback to improve services.
  • Provide training and development for staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and legal requirements.
  • Represent the service positively in external meetings and contribute to the growth and development of the business.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care
  • A strong understanding of CQC regulations
  • Compassionate, professional, innovative, supportive, and passionate about delivering joyful homecare.
  • Excellent understanding of homecare services, person-centred care, and anti-discriminatory practices.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in building positive relationships with service users, families, and professionals.
  • Proven ability to plan, organise, and manage workloads effectively.
  • Good administrative skills and computer literacy.
  • Experience in managing and developing a staff team, including recruitment, training, and supervision.
  • Clear written and electronic record-keeping skills.
  • Full driver’s licence
