* Plan and teach engaging lessons that motivate the students in your subject and cater to the needs of diverse learner

* Mark and assess students work and track student progression

* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation.

* Have excellent curriculum knowledge that continues to develop with the advances in the subject - particularly the new and engaging ways to teach Maths as the subject continues to evolve.

* Have strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

To apply for this role, you will need:

* QTS - Qualified Teacher status in Maths (ECT's, formerly known as NQT's, are encouraged to apply)

* Excellent subject knowledge of Maths in Key Stages 3 (KS3) and 4 (KS4) is essential

* Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
