Title: Graduate Acoustic Consultant

Location: Bedford

Salary: £24-28k

We are seeking a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join an independent consultancy that specialises in architectural and environmental acoustics. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of projects in rural, urban, and industrial settings across the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will receive personalised mentoring and work in a supportive environment known for developing professionals capable of addressing diverse challenges.

The main duties for the Graduate acoustic role involve working closely with site managers and stakeholders, carrying out on-site noise and vibration surveys, and utilising CaDnaA, Odeon, Insul, and Revit software for acoustic modelling.

Main requirements for the Graduate Acoustic position include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acoustics or a related field, active membership in the Institute of Acoustics (IOA), possession of a valid UK driving licence, proficiency in organising and prioritising work in collaboration with the team, strong verbal and written communication skills, and willingness to travel to various sites at short notice. It is also important that the candidate is located near the Bedford office.
